Proposed crown reduction works:
1.Branch over outbuilding reduce to one metre beyond previous cut.
2.Cut back to previous cuts. Where rot is present prune back by seventy five centimetres to one metre, or to sound wood.
Where this would mean cutting into a main limb, avoid doing so if possible, keeping the diameter of the cut as small as is possible to help prevent the spread of rot into the main limb. |
