| Proposal | Works to horse chestnut trees in the grounds of Southgate House, Station Street, Donington. The trees are located immediately to the west of the house and are situated in Area One of Donington Tree Preservation Order No.4 1972.
a) Horse chestnut nearest to the house is in poor condition. Reduce by one third, (to reduce height and give clearance from house)as more exposed to the wind once its neighbour has been removed.
b) Horse chestnut adjacent to the west of the aforementioned tree, has a large split across the trunk and is potentially unsafe, remove. |
