| Proposal | Application to carry out works to a lime tree identified as T15 of Gedney Hill Tree Preservation Order No. 1 1984. The tree is located on the frontage immediately to the north of the house known as 1 Station Road, at the junction with Highstock Lane, Gedney Hill.
a)Remove epicormic growth.
b)Crown lift to no more than three metres.(As amended by telephone call with applicant on 8.1.15).
c)Selectively reduce branches growing towards house to leave no more than a two metre clearance.
Additional optional works noted during inspection of the tree on 9.01.2015.
d)The crown may be balanced by reduction of branches growing towards the road (for example the one growing towards the 'Give way' sign) by no more than 2.0 metres maximum.
e)Remove any rubbing branches,or duplicate branches/crossing branches likely to rub in the near future; to improve the form of the tree in the long term. |
