| Proposal | Works to prune two sycamore trees on the frontage of Sycamore Farm, 6 Station Road, Gedney Hill. The trees are identified as T16 and T17 of Gedney Hill Tree Preservation Order No. 1 1984.
The trees have been previously pollarded, there is much dead wood in T16 and large cavities in T17. There is need for some pruning to clear British Telecom cables.
Re-pollard the trees, remove no more than two thirds of height above the old pollard cuts.(Leave one third of the existing height above the old pollard cuts). |
