ProposalApplication to carry out works to trees the subject of Gosberton Tree Preservation Order No. 11 1986, also to an ash tree which is in Gosberton Conservation Area, but not the subject of a Tree Preservation Order. The trees concerned are in the front garden of 28 Salem Street,Gosberton. Reference numbers refer to the Tree Preservation Order. Sycamore T2: 1. Prune back low branches to give approximately two metres clearance from the adjacent bungalow. In detail: Branch nearest road. Prune back to small branch beyond cavity. Next branch to the south. Prune back to a new growth point. Next branch to the south. Prune back branches growing towards the roof to where pruned before (about a two metre clearance). 2.Cut back lower branch which hangs over garden to the south west to main branch. 3. Prune to give clearance to cable. Cut back two branches which hang above cable to main branch. Prune lower branch to give clearance. 4. Cut back lowest growing branch to the south to the main branch. 5. Large low branch to the south remove lower part to where it forks (grows over hawthorn and rowan). Reduce section which grows to the west by 50% to a new growth point. (Leave the small branch above). 6. Remove rubbing branches over the road. 7. Prune to give minimum highway clearance. Yew T1: 1. Prune to give minimum clearance of cable. Ash, not a preserved tree. 1. Prune small branches back to the main trunk (to give two metres clearance of bungalow). 2. Remove rubbing branch following the main leader to the south.
