Lime: pollard lime with rotten base to leave a trunk of no more than five metres.
Horse chestnut: Prune regrowth over the driveway (of a low branch) to give one metre clearance from the adjacent yew. Remove two main branches of re-growth, thin out smaller twigs but leave some to give shape (approx 30% thin). |
