| Proposal | Application for works to prune trees from electrical cables, the trees are in the grounds of 39 High Street, Moulton and are located adjacent to the frontage boundary. One tree, a pine is subject to Moulton Tree Preservation Order No. 8 1989. The works are for the minimum necessary to be pruned back to give safe clearance to the cables. This to involve pruning back from the cables to give no more than two metres clearance from the side line (It was advised that the branch should ideally be pruned back to leave some greenery on the end of it, if not possible due to the amount of clearance required, the branch concerned would be best removed completely rather than the leaving of a stub end, which would be unlikely to regenerate). |
