| Proposal | Works to remove trees in the grounds of Otway House,Pinchbeck, which are within Pinchbeck Conservation Area.
The trees are situated immediately to the south and south west of the Coach House.
1. Conifer/cypress remove from the flower bed immediately adjoining the southern wall of the Coach House. On site the Agent considered that the tree was too near to the wall to allow to increase in size.
2. Horse chestnut remove. The tree is mature and has grown in close proximity to a large horse chestnut located immediately to the west of it. The tree behind is the dominant tree and has forced the tree subject of this notification to grow with its foliage on the eastern side, and lean slightly to the Coach House. On site the Agent explained that his client wished to remove the tree to allow space for its larger neighbour to grow unhindered.
3. Elm remove. The tree leans to the east due to the presence of neighbouring trees. An unusual tree, but of poor form.
4. Sycamore remove. The tree is a poor misshapen specimen, always dominated by its neighbours. |
