| Proposal | Works to remove an ash tree identified as T2 of Sutton St James TPO No.3, 1990.The base of the tree is infected by a fungi possibly Rigidoporus ulmarius, but more likely Perenniporia fraxinea. The black marks on the trunk indicate the fungus Daldinia concentrica which is normally found on dead wood. There is concern that basal rot may undermine the stability of the tree. |
